Paternoster Heritage Trail.
Tourists Wanted.....
Located about 150Km north of Cape Town, South Africa is the small, sleepy, quiet fishing village of Paternoster. Paternoster is a secret; most South Africans do not know of Paternoster.
Enjoy the pristine, unspoiled beauty of 20Km of shoreline, including 10Km of beautiful white sand beaches. Eat a seafood dinner at the historic hotel which is 137 years old. The local characters meet at the hotel pub; ask the bartender about the artifacts on the ceiling.
Currently the community is developing the Paternoster Heritage Trail. A walk along this trail with a local guide will introduce you to amazing flora and fauna, a rich history about ship wrecks and fishing, possibly a whale and dolphin viewing, seals, and birds. Enjoy a brief introduction to the pre-history of the area by visiting archaeology sites. Contact Hannes: info@ratrace.co.za
